I travel extensively all around Africa for my work and I tend to avoid staying in classic hotels whenever I can. Impress Hotel is the first place that fulfilled every need of my stay and far beyond my expectations. First of all the employees are kind, reliable, attentive and very professional. They go out of their way to be of honest assistance. To me that is always the first indicator to a good place. It means the management treats their staff fair and respectful. The rooms are spacious, clean, airy and lumenious. The view is fantastic and the location could not be better. There is a Tomoca Café Bar on the ground floor and good Wifi in all rooms. There is a good functioning kitchen and perfectly running hot water. As I was there for a photo assignment the manager let me switch my room to one with a better view, letting me keep the lower rate of the first room. A special thank you to Tigist and Muluken and the entire staff! Keep up the good job and to all visitors looking for a good place to stay: this is it! Especially well suited also for business trips!

After ages for searching for a decent hotel in Addis that was value for money, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean (not a bug in sight) comfortable and welcoming this one was. The staff are absolutely fantastic (security, door staff, maintenance, reception, drivers, maids etc) and made the entire extended stay enjoyable and safe. The location is also excellent, just a short drive from the airport and in the centre of the lively area of Bole which has plenty of shopping and eating opportunities. Beautiful balcony view of the cathedral also which really adds some authentic culture to the atmosphere (if you want the view make sure to ask when you book - everyone speaks a high standard of English). One of the town's most popular restaurants is located on the ground floor serving delicious traditional cuisine, as well as an adjacent cafe serving hearty breakfasts and freshly baked goods. The MOST important box that was ticked for me however... the wifi was fast and stable the whole time! This is definitely my new home whenever I'm in Addis.

Fantastic hotel - catered to all our needs Having stayed at the same hotel for the past few years, I am pleased that I decided to give this one a try. The rooms are extremely large, clean and furnished to perfection - great for having family and friends around. The location is very good also and easy access to everything. The staff were very pleasant and catered to our every need and we had a very enjoyable 3 week stay.

Recommended hotel, good location very courteous staff The hotel staff is very courteous, smiling and nice. Hotel rooms very clean, big and beautiful. All the equipment is very new and imposing. The hotel's location really good sits on the main road and all around.
